Radio Community Service Grants Now Available

Applications are now being accepted for 2010 Community Spotlight grants from Neuhoff Media-Danville and McDonald’s. These grants are awarded monthly to community groups anywhere in the Danville area.

The deadline to submit an application is Friday, February 19th at 5pm. The application and letter of explanation is available from Neuhoff Communications at 1501 N. Washington in Danville.

Community groups, civic organizations, non-profits, even school or church based groups are encouraged to apply.

The grant recipients will receive a month-long radio advertising campaign on the three Neuhoff Communications stations in Danville valued at $7000. These sixty-second announcements feature members of those organizations along with a representative of McDonald’s and the radio station.

In 2004 the International Broadcasters Idea Bank named the Community Spotlight, as the Cary and Betty Simpson Community Service Award winner. This award is given to a member station for outstanding contributions to their community. The Community Spotlight was selected from radio stations in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

If you have any questions, please direct them to Mike Hulvey or Pat Swanson at Neuhoff Media at 217-442-1700.
