A local company that specializes in a wide range of cleaning services will be helping keep Danville Police safe during the COVID-19 emergency. Newton’s Cleaning and Restoration is donating its services to apply a disinfectant and protective coating to the interior of all 25 Danville Police vehicles.
‘’We value our first responders and want to do our part to keep them safe,’’ said Newton’s co-owner Erich Hannah. ‘’We knew we had the products available to help do that, and it was important to us that we give back to our community, especially during a time like this,’’ added Hannah.
Newton’s will first apply a disinfectant in the vehicles followed by a protective coating that can keep germs away up to 30 days. The process of applying the non-toxic safety shield in the vehicles is scheduled to begin on Monday.
