The Vermilion County Health Department says that 68 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the county.
Administrator Doug Toole reports that the county currently has 219 active cases, down nine from Sunday. The local COVID hospitalization amount is unchanged from the past few days, still at 29 people.
The new cases, broken down by age, consist of:
- One person in their 80’s
- Three people in their 70’s
- Four people in their 60’s
- 11 people in their 50’s
- 11 people in their 40’s
- 18 people in their 30’s
- Five people in their 20’s
- Five teenagers
- Six grade-school students
- Three toddlers
- One infant
The state’s COVID-19 mobile testing unit is returning to Danville this weekend. Drive-through testing will be available on Sunday at the Vermilion County Health Department.
Overall, Vermilion County has had 3,103 positive cases.
