Three more Vermilion County residents have died from COVID-19, pushing the death toll up to 106 people.
Vermilion County Health Department Administrator Doug Toole says that the deaths are a woman in her 90’s, a woman in her 80’s and a man in his 50’s. He also reported 26 new cases on Wednesday evening, including four people in their 90’s, four people in their 80’s and two grade-school-aged children.
Currently, there are 271 active coronavirus cases in Vermilion County, and nine people are hospitalized due to the virus. Vermilion County has had a total of 8,499 cases since the pandemic began.
