The latest report from the Vermilion County Health Department shows that two more residents have died of COVID, a man in his 70s, and another man in his 50s. This brings the county’s COVID death total up to 184. There are now 50 new COVID cases in the county, 11 in the 50s through 70s range, 26 in the 20s through 40s range, and 13 under the age of 20. The latter includes nine teens, one grade-school-aged child, one pre-schooler, and two infants.
Twenty-nine county residents remain hospitalized with COVID, two of which report having been fully vaccinated.
