Both Danville District 118 and the Danville City Council have called extra meetings in addition to what was already on schedule for the week of February 10th.
For District 118, their regular meeting on Wednesday, February 12th remains on the schedule, with the Open Session part of the meeting scheduled to begin at 6:30. An opportunity for PUBLIC COMMENT will be on that agenda.
In addition, there will be a Monday, February 10th Special Meeting at 5:30 PM. The agenda items will be taken care of in Closed Session, and CIMG has been told that some disciplinary matters that needed to be taken care of before Wednesday the 12th was the reason for Monday’s special meeting. However, there will be an opportunity for PUBLIC COMMENT on the agenda, prior to the board going into closed session.
For the Danville City Council, their Public Works Committee meeting at 6 PM on Tuesday, February 11th is still scheduled. However, either at 6:30 PM or after Public Works concludes, there will be a special Closed Session meeting of the full City Council, with the agenda stating it is “pursuant to specific personnel.” However, there will be an opportunity for PUBLIC COMMENT both at the start of the Public Works meeting, and prior to going into Closed Session during the special full council meeting.
