THE FOLLOWING IS A CHAMPAIGN COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE RELEASE
Champaign County Coroner Laurie Brauer is releasing the name of a man killed in a motor vehicle crash on Thursday, February 6th, 2025.
Junior Evans, 83 years old, of Sidell, Illinois was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash that happened near 2700 E. and 100 N. in Broadlands, Illinois just before 5 p.m. on February 6th, 2025.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, February 7th, 2025. This death is being investigated by the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office and the
Champaign County Coroner’s Office.
