Ryan Coogler’s hit vampire thriller Sinners will be available on premium video-on-demand on June 3 and on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on July 8. The horror movie features Michael B. Netflix announced new cast members for its series based on Laura Ingalls’ Little House on the Prairie books. Jocko Sims, Warren Christie, Wren Zhawenim Gotts, Meegwun Fairbrother, Alyssa Wapanatǎhk, and Xander Cole will join the Ingalls family in late 19th-century America. The books were previously adapted for an NBC series from 1974 to 1983. (UPI)
Marvel and DC are collaborating on a Batman/Deadpool crossover comic series set for release later this year. The storyline involves Deadpool being hired in Gotham City, prompting conflict with Batman. The two companies are also planning additional character match-ups. This marks the first DC/Marvel crossover in over 20 years. (Gizmodo)
Kathy Bates reveals Garry Marshall rejected her for the 1991 film Frankie and Johnny due to her looks. “He couldn’t make the leap that people would see me onscreen kissing someone,” Bates said. “Me actually kissing a man onscreen — that would not be romantic.” Michelle Pfeiffer was cast instead in the romantic lead opposite Al Pacino. Deborra-Lee Furness has filed for divorce from Hugh Jackman in New York after 27 years of marriage. The couple had previously announced their separation in 2023. They share two adopted children.
