As outlined in the tour announcement, the run will include stops in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam and Paris. Singer-songwriter Audrey Hobert will join Charli as the special guest for the European dates.

The shows follow Charli XCX’s 2026 North American arena tour and continue a busy period for the British artist, whose recent work has expanded beyond music into fashion and film projects.

The 2027 dates give European fans another opportunity to see Charli in an arena setting after the success of her recent live era. Ticket sales will include presale opportunities before the general public sale, with availability expected to vary by city and venue.

The public display, staged over the Joie Stadium at Manchester’s Etihad Campus, follows a series of recent teasers from the band. Those clues have fueled expectations that Liam and Noel Gallagher are preparing to announce another run of live shows after their successful reunion tour in 2025.

Oasis returned to the stage last year for the first time since the group split in 2009. The comeback brought the Gallagher brothers back together for shows that drew major interest from fans around the world.

Recent hints have been linked to possible future performances in Manchester, Glasgow and Knebworth, but specific concert dates and venues have not yet been formally announced.

For now, the only confirmed detail is the timing. Oasis fans will learn more when the band makes its announcement on September 14 at 4 p.m. BST.

The collection includes eight First Class stamps featuring artwork from albums released throughout Duran Duran’s career. The selected records are Duran Duran, Rio, Seven and the Ragged Tiger, Notorious, The Wedding Album, Astronaut, Paper Gods, and Future Past.

A separate miniature sheet focuses on the band’s live history, with four stamps connected to the Careless Memories Tour, Astronaut Tour, Sing Blue Silver Tour, and Invisible Tour.

Formed in Birmingham, England, Duran Duran became one of the most recognizable British bands of the 1980s, combining pop, rock, and electronic influences with a strong visual identity. The new stamp collection places that history alongside other British cultural figures and events previously recognized through special stamp releases.

The performance came as part of the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams matchup, with more than 100,000 fans filling the stadium. The brothers opened their appearance with familiar pop favorites and moved through a medley that included Burnin’ Up, Sucker, Listen When Sad and Year 3000.

The group also added a local touch to the set by performing John Farnham’s Australian classic You’re the Voice. The choice connected the halftime show to its Melbourne setting while giving the crowd a song closely associated with Australian pop culture.

The appearance marked another major international stage for the Jonas Brothers as the NFL continued expanding its regular-season schedule beyond the United States.

In a statement about the cancellations, the group said the affected concerts were scheduled between September 11 and October 3. Stops on the canceled portion of the tour included Nashville, Austin, Las Vegas and San Francisco. Fans who purchased tickets for those dates are expected to receive full refunds through their original point of purchase.

The band also expressed hope that it will be able to return to the affected cities at a later date. No replacement dates have been announced.

The Arcadia Tour supported the group’s latest studio album, Arcadia, which marked Alison Krauss & Union Station’s first new album together in nearly 14 years. The project brought the Grammy-winning bluegrass and country group back together for a new round of recordings and live performances.

Questlove said his perfectionism has played a role in the delays, while Black Thought explained that the group is now narrowing down the songs. The album is also expected to include guest appearances, although no names have been confirmed.

The conversation also revisited The Roots’ 2003 Grammy performance with Eminem, when they joined him for Lose Yourself. Questlove described that period as an important stage in the group’s rise, following years of touring and collaboration.

The reflections highlight how The Roots have balanced live performance, experimentation, and longevity while continuing to work on new music more than three decades into their career.

Billboard highlighted the achievement as another major moment for the collaboration, which arrived on May 23 and gained worldwide attention throughout the World Cup. The track blends Shakira’s Latin pop style with Burna Boy’s Afrobeats sound, bringing the two artists together for one of the year’s biggest international releases.

The pair performed Dai Dai during the World Cup opening ceremony in Mexico City and later appeared with the song during the tournament’s final halftime show.

The billion-view milestone also expands Shakira’s long-running presence on YouTube. Dai Dai becomes her 10th music video to pass 1 billion views on the platform.

For Burna Boy, the achievement adds another global milestone to a career that has helped bring Afrobeats to audiences around the world.

Their biggest successes came in 1987, when With or Without You and I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For both reached No. 1. Those songs helped define The Joshua Tree era and remain among the group’s best-known recordings.

Other major chart performers included Desire, Mysterious Ways, One, Beautiful Day, Vertigo and Where the Streets Have No Name. Together, the songs trace U2’s evolution from 1980s rock breakout to an established global act with continued mainstream reach.

The band’s singles success also sits alongside a long record of No. 1 albums, strong performances on rock and alternative charts, and multiple Grammy Awards. Decades later, U2’s chart history remains a snapshot of how consistently the group connected with American listeners.

The nomination was confirmed as part of this year’s CMA Awards lineup and marks Swift’s first recognition from the organization in four years. The song, featured on the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, has also brought her back into the country music conversation after reaching No. 1 on the country radio chart.

Swift’s connection to country music goes back to the beginning of her career, before she expanded into pop and other styles. Her latest nomination reflects that history while recognizing one of her newest releases.

She also indicated that she plans to attend the 2026 CMA Awards, scheduled for November 18. The ceremony will bring together artists from across country music to celebrate the year’s major releases and performances.

As we shared memories that day, Williams invited CIMG to stop by his annual Golf Outing.  So this past Friday (Sept 11), we were there; with Williams himself reminding us who benefits from this annual outing.

And just a few feet away, there she was; the five time Olympic Speed Skating Gold Medalist, Champaign’s own Bonnie Blair.  She and her husband, Olympic speed skater Dave Cruikshank, created the DASH speed skating team up in the Milwaukee area because they felt it was needed; on and off the ice.

AUDIO: When we were growing up, and what we’ve learned over the course of all these years, is what sport gave to us.  So much about learning how to be a good person, goal setting, being able to look somebody in the eye and going up and shaking their hand.  And chasing goals and  chasing dreams.

Many of Williams’ teammates from that 1983 Rose Bowl season were there, with one of the most interesting being wide receiver and kick returner Don Passmore.  He has spent much of his working life as west coast director, overseeing 13 states, for a company that makes protective gear for firefighters.  And with that First Responder connection, he was certainly reflective on Friday’s 25-year anniversary of 9-11.

Also from the ’83 season Rose Bowl team, defensive lineman, linebacker, and special teams player Jim Burke.  He has wonderful memories of playing aside two Illini defensive legends, Mark Butkus, and 1983 Big Ten MVP Don Thorpe.

AUDIO: (Thorpe)….out of Buffalo Grove.  To be the (most valuable) player of the Big 10, as a defensive tackle, you have to play at a very high level.  He wasn’t a quarterback, wasn’t a receiver, didn’t touch the ball.  He was special.

Names from the 2007 Illini Rose Bowl team were at Williams’ outing as well, including safety Kevin Mitchell.  He says the “Juice Williams game” 28-21 win at Ohio State was especially satisfying.

AUDIO: 2005, our first time being in Columbus, we lost 40-2.  And in the locker room, I remember Coach Dan Disch was like, “Hey, just remember this.  Because when we come back, it’ll be a different story.”  And sure enough, when we came back…….and I tell people all the time, it was me as a person, my own first time being in a David vs Goliath moment, right?  We weren’t supposedly supposed to win.  But we went in that house, Senior Night, a sold out house; and went in and got the “W.” and no one believed it but us.

And among the many golfers there from the U of I basketball program was shooting guard from the 2005 National Championship Game team, Dee Brown.  When he looks back on that team 21 years ago, Brown says he remembers the closeness they all had.

AUDIO: We always had that motto, and we lived by it.  “We’re family, we’re connected, we do this thing together.”  So just going through that run, going through those times with those guys; was an amazing moment, an amazing time.  And just thinking about it brings so many emotions.

Today, Dee Brown is the head basketball coach at Roosevelt University in Chicago.  And he feels very fortunate.
