The Vermilion County Health Department will present the findings of the Community Health Assessment Surveys collected from county residents on Wednesday. A Community Health Assessment Planning meeting taking place at Danville Area Community College will also go over the latest health and community data so priorities can be selected.
Vermilion County Health Department Administrator Doug Toole says the current priorities that have been the focus of local efforts are Substance and Alcohol Abuse, Teen Pregnancy and Obesity. Toole says information on the status of those areas and what has been accomplished over the last five years will be presented at Wednesday’s meeting.
Representatives from various county agencies have been invited to the meeting which will run from 9:00 a.m. until noon Wednesday in the Danville Area Community College Bremer Conference and Workforce Development Center.
