Danville's MLK DAY Motorcade Cancelled Due to Cold Weather; Service at St. James Church to Still Begin at 11:30 AM
Also, the service will include the presentation of the $6000.00 MLK Scholarship to a Danville graduating high school senior. In addition, an ensemble of singers, under the direction of MLK Music Director Brett Dupree, will perform at the service.

FUN LEARNING ABOUT OWLS: Vermilion County Conservation District to host "Nature at Night" Educational Series
While it may be cold outside, the winter months are a busy time for Vermilion County owls with their breeding and nesting season. This program will begin with an indoor presentation about owls and their adaptations at the Kennekuk Education Center, followed by an outdoor exploration for a chance to see or hear them.

We placed 4,404 wreaths, this year. There are 11,816 currently interred at Danville National Cemetery. So help is needed for fundraising for 2025. Our goal is to cover the whole cemetery with wreaths.
