Authorities in Delphi, Indiana who are probing the murders of two teenage girls have released an audio recording of a suspect.

State Police looped the audio to give the general public a better chance to hear it. They say the audio is from the cell phone of one of the victims – 14-year-old Liberty German. Police had previously released a photo of a suspect in the case. The photo was also recovered from the German girl’s cellphone.
The bodies of the two girls were found on February 14th in a wooded area near the Delphi Historic Trail. The girls had gone for a walk along the trail the previous day, just east of Delphi in Carroll County, Indiana.
Indiana State Police from the Lafayette District are conducting the investigation into the killings along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Carroll County Sheriff’s Department. They announced Wednesday that the reward fund in the case has grown to $41,000.

Checks should be made payable to the Indiana State Police Alliance Foundation. ‘’Delphi Reward’’ should be entered on the memo line of the check.
