Members of a Danville family escaped from their burning home during the night (early Wednesday). Danville Firefighters responded to the alarm at 424 Harmon Street shortly after 12:30 this morning. When they arrived they found flames coming from the front of the residence.
Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the flames, but the overhaul was extensive. There were no injuries. The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
The blaze was the latest in a string of fires this week in the Danville area.
