Danville Police say they are investigating two reports of shots fired Wednesday night….including one in which a person was wounded.
Police Commander Joshua Webb says officers found a 20-year-old Danville man with a wound to a shoulder when officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1100 block of Harmon Street. Witnesses told police the shots were fired from a black or silver colored vehicle as it passed through the area shortly before 6:30 p.m. The person wounded was treated at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center for a non-life threatening wound.
It was about 15 minutes later….at 6:46 p.m. Wednesday….that Danville Police received a report of shots fired in the area of East Main and State Streets. Witnesses said the shots were fired from a blue colored vehicle which was last seen traveling south on State Street. No injuries or property damage was reported in that incident.
