The Ladies of Catlin host their 5th Annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday, (June 3rd, 2017). But the fun begins this evening (Friday, June 2nd) when the Strawberry Festival 5K Fun Run/Walk takes place.
The race will start at 6:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Catlin Park. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children under twelve years old. For children under 10, a kid’s glow run will immediately follow the race for older entries.
On Saturday the Catlin Strawberry Festival will feature a dunk tank, cake walk, bean bag toss and bounce house. Several contests will also occur, such as limbo, hula hoop and a bubble gum blowing contest.
New this year is an antique car show hosted by the Illiana Antique Auto Club. And Saturday evening the Salt Fork Music Boosters will present Storm Aid III featuring live music from 5:00 until 10:30 p.m. in front of the Catlin American Legion.
