Vermilion County will be represented in the Miss America pageant this year.
Abby Foster of Danville was crowned Miss Illinois on Saturday night in Marion.
Foster was competing as Miss East Central in the contest, and advances to the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City in September.
With the Illinois crown comes about $10,000 in scholarship money for the 2015 Oakwood High School grad.
