A young Westville woman has been picked to reign over this week’s Vermilion County Fair and Expo. Morgan Wright was crowned during the competition at the fairgrounds Wednesday evening. First runner-up honors went to An’Recia Payne. The Junior Miss Vermilion County Fair title this year was won by Tinlee Shepard, who is also from Westville.
Katie Brown had served as the Vermilion County Fair Queen for 2016. The outgoing queen says the experience was nothing short of incredible. She was one of the top 15 finalists in the Miss Illinois County Fair competition.
