Two people are dead as the result of a single vehicle crash near Rossville. Vermilion County Sheriff’s Captain Eric Deck says the crash occurred around 5:00 a.m. (Friday, July 7, 2017) on East Attica Road….east of Rossville.
Deck says a man and woman…who were riding in an SUV….were killed. But he added details of how the crash occurred remain under investigation.
Deputies closed East Attica Road in that area for several hours as they went about their investigation. Motorists were advised to use an alternate route.
The identities of the two victims have not been released yet by the Vermilion County Coroner’s Office.
