A single-vehicle accident along U.S. route 36 in Vermillion County, Indiana Monday has claimed a life. Sheriff’s Police say the victim is the lone occupant of the vehicle which left the highway, struck a concrete abutment for a bridge supporting State Road 63…and then burst into flames.
The crash occurred shortly after 7:30 Monday morning (August 21, 2017). The name of the victim was not immediately determined but authorities said the person who died is believed to be from out of state.
