Police in Tilton say a suspect has been arrested in Wednesday night’s armed robbery of a gas station. And police are crediting social media with helping to crack the case.
Police posted photos of a man who was wanted for questing in the robbery on Facebook. On Thursday the suspect was identified and taken into custody in connection with the robbery that occurred at a Casey’s General Store.
No one was hurt during the robbery. The suspect was taken to the Public Safety Building in Danville to await the filing of formal charges by the Vermilion County State’s Attorney’s Office.
