Danville Police have arrested a suspect wanted in the robbery of a gas station early Tuesday. Police Commander Joshua Webb says 45-year-old Shane T. Winbush of Danville was taken into custody without further incident Tuesday afternoon (September 26th, 2017).
Winbush (shown here) is being held at the Public Safety Building on charges he robbed the Circle K gas station in the 400 block of West Main Street. Police were told the suspect reached over the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of money from a cash drawer. There was no weapon displayed. The robbery occurred around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday. Remember that all suspects are presumed innocent unless they are proven guilty in a court of law.
