A Georgetown man has been sentenced to 24 years in prison after being convicted in August on armed robbery and vehicular invasion charges. Circuit Judge Thomas OShaughnessy handed down the sentence on 21-year-old Jordan Crosby.
Crosby was convicted of the charges at the conclusion of a three day jury trial last August. The case involved two victims in a pick-up truck who were robbed at Voorhees and Oak streets in Danville. Crosby was convicted of being armed with a handgun during the robbery. He was eligible for an extended prison term because of his previous criminal record.
The case was prosecuted by the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.
