An investigation is underway into what caused a Bismarck fire on Tuesday (Oct. 31st, 2017). The blaze left extensive damage to the Sherri Williams residence at 223 East Holloway Street. William’s daughter, Chelsey Haga, told VermilionCountyFirst.com News on the scene that nobody was home when the fire broke out.
Firefighters from the Bismarck Fire Protection District received help from Kickapoo and Lynch volunteer firefighters in dousing the blaze. The fire broke out about mid-afternoon Tuesday. There were about twenty-five firefighters on the scene. No injuries were reported.
