The Mayor of Tilton…Dave Phillips, is excited about a new 48-unit assisted living complex that is being built in his community. Phillips was on hand Wednesday for a ground-breaking ceremony for the new Autumn Fields Adult Community on East 14th Street….
Those units are being built near a small lake. And it is not the only development that is coming to Tilton. Construction is already underway along the west side of Illinois route one near 16th Street where a Dollar Tree is coming. Mayor Phillips was asked whether any other businesses have been secured for that site…
Construction is also scheduled to begin across the street from that site on a new Mach One gas station and convenience mart early next year.
It is coming to an area where there is a huge amount of other land available for development on the east side of Illinois route one.
