No injuries were reported in a fire that damaged a Danville apartment early today (Wednesday, November 15, 2017)). Danville Firefighters responded to the kitchen fire at 1209 Garden Drive shortly after 5:00 a.m. A hallway area was filled with smoke, and some occupants of the building were fleeing out windows when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters were told an occupant fell asleep while cooking. Preliminary damage estimates were placed at $21-thousand, 500-dollars.
