Danville Police are continuing their search for a man wanted in the robbery of a Subway Restaurant on South Gilbert Street. Police Commander Joshua Webb says an employee reported a white male entered the business around 4:50 p.m. Wednesday and demanded money.
The employee says the suspect did not display a weapon but acted as though he had one. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash from the business. He then entered a silver colored GMC Envoy which was last seen traveling eastbound on Bluff Street near the restaurant.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25 to 30 years old. He is around 6 feet tall, weighs around 200 pounds, and has brown hair. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, brown pants and a baseball hat at the time of the robbery.
