As another year winds to a close, Danville Mayor Scott Eisenhauer says it has been a good one…
The Mayor says one of the largest hurdles this year was trying to come up with a plan to resolve the multi-million dollar shortfall in the Police and Fire Pension Funds. But the City Council finally agreed on one…
In addition to being proud of the new Richard Brazda Bus Terminal in Downtown Danville, Mayor Eisenhauer is thrilled with the improvements around Danville High School. He says the high school attracts more visitors to the community than any other location.
And the Mayor is also glad to see improvements being done in the Riverfront Area, near the David S. Palmer Arena….
Looking ahead, the Mayor says he expects the boardwalk will eventually connect to Ellsworth Park and the Rails to Trails project…bringing even more visitors to Danville.
