Danville Police are investigating a Sunday shooting. Public Safety Director Larry Thomason confirms that a man was shot in the Cherry Street area. The victim attempted to drive himself to the hospital, according to preliminary information, but crashed on the way.
Director Thomason also confirms that multiple arrests have been made in connection with this shooting. He told VermilionCountyFirst.com News those arrested were being held on preliminary charges of obstructing justice.
The identity of the person shot, and information on his condition was not immediately available.
