Police in northern Illinois have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a Danville homicide last October. Public Safety Director Larry Thomason announced the arrest during a Danville City Council committee meeting (Tuesday evening)…..
The victim was 25-year-old Gerald Taylor of Chicago. Police found Taylor when they responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Campbell Lane on October 14th of last year. The location is in the Fair Oaks Public Housing area. Officers found Taylor laying on the ground when they arrived. Taylor was transported to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana where he died.
