Some minority business owners in Vermilion County shared tips Wednesday on how they have managed to succeed. They were participating in a panel discussion at Danville Area Community College as part of Black History Month.

Some of the other tips from those on the panel include:
- Make sure you are continuously learning;
- Don’t let anything deter you;
- Remember everyone will not accept you, but be kind to people;
- Take time-out for yourself and your family for mini vacations;
- Remember, everyone’s money is green.
