The Danville Area Transportation Study group has been looking at adopting a Greenway & Trails Plan for the Metropolitan Planning Area. The Metropolitan Planning Area includes Danville, Georgetown, Westville, Catlin, Tilton, Hilleary, Forest Glen County Park, Kennekuk County Park, and Kickapoo State Park.
Residents are invited to discuss the plan at a public meeting from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Saturday, February 24th, at the David S. Palmer Arena (Room 127) at 100 West Main Street in Danville. The meeting will be an open forum, so residents may stop by at any time. Citizens may submit comments on the plan until Friday, March 9th, 2018.
