The Danville Public Library has kicked-off a ‘Children’s Book Drive’. The library is looking for donations of new or gently used children’s books. The books will be added to the upcoming Spring Book Sale being held March 23rd and 24th (2018) at the Danville Public Library. The sale will include thousands of books for children and adults, along with collectible books and audiovisual materials.
Proceeds from the book sale are used to enhance the library’s print and audio collection, library services, and cultural and educational opportunities for families in our community.
Donated items may be dropped off at the Danville Public Library at 319 N. Vermilion Street. Items that are accepted for the book sale include books in good condition, full sets of encyclopedias from the last 3 years, audio books and music on CDs, along with movies on DVD or Blu-ray (in their original cases).
Items which are not accepted for the sale include magazines (including National Geographic), textbooks, Reader’s Digest condensed books, and cassette or VHS tapes.
