Danville Mayor Scott Eisenhauer is confirming that two police officers are on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation. The Mayor told VermilionCountyFirst.com News that the investigation is centered on the officers’ conduct while off-duty. The Mayor adds the conduct came to light recently as a security video was being reviewed in a criminal case. But the Mayor would not comment further.
Danville Public Safety Director Larry Thomason says it is a personnel matter, and he has no further comments at this time.
