The school board and administration decided to have all schools register their students at the Palmer Arena. Dr. Yacobi says it makes more sense than to do it at individual schools….
Several parents and teachers who talked with VermilionCountyFirst.com News said they like the new system. Teachers decorated their booths representing their school and enthusiastically greeted parents and children as they showed up to register.

Danville Mass Transit has been providing free shuttle service between the Palmer Arena and Vermilion County Health Department for students needing immunizations. And physicals are also available in a room at the Palmer Arena for students needing them. There is a small charge.

District 118 registration at the Palmer Arena continues today (Thursday, June 7th) from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
