Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden has released the names of two men who were fatally shot outside the Untouchable’s Motorcycle Club in Danville Saturday morning. She says the victims are 17-year-old Tahji S. McGill and 23-year-old Albert L. Gardner Jr., both of Danville.
The Coroner says names were withheld until the families could be notified. And Coroner McFadden added autopsies were performed on both men on Saturday, but the results are still pending. Danville Police and the Coroner’s Office continue their investigation into the deaths. McFadden says if anyone has information about this crime they are encouraged to call Danville Police or Vermilion County Crime Stoppers at (217) 446-TIPS.
The Vermilion County State’s Attorney’s office earlier authorized an arrest warrant charging 18-year-old Deontae Bright of Danville in connection with the deaths. Police have been attempting to locate the suspect since the shootings occurred around 2:00 a.m. Saturday. A third man was also shot according to Danville Police, but police say that 36-year-old Danville man suffered a non life-threatening wound.
