Danville Police are investigating their third area shooting of the week.
Yesterday at 3:40 in the morning Danville Police responded to OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center for a report of a victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Medical personnel advised the victim had been dropped off by a personal vehicle and not by ambulance. The victim was not able to give details of the incident at the time as he was receiving treatment.
Monday morning Danville Police responded to a shooting on Kentucky street in Danville; that has resulted so far in the arrest of three juveniles…and early Sunday morning a Danville homeowner on Fairchild street fired his gun at an intruder.
