The ‘Project Success’ Program of Vermilion County is expanding with word it will receive $4.2 million dollars in grant monies over the next five years. Rickey Williams, the program’s CEO, says the two new grants will allow the Teen Reach after school program to include all three Oakwood schools along with Judith Giacoma Elementary School in Westville and Pine Crest and Mary Miller schools in Georgetown. The funds also allow for a new Teen Reach site at Salt Fork Junior High School (the Mary Miller Jr. High program is moving there.

The new grant monies will allow for the creation of six new full-time positions and 40 part-time positions paying $10 to $16.50 an hour. The funding will allow Project Success to provide youth development services to all but two Vermilion County School Districts.
