The governor’s budget director says the University of Illinois could receive fifty to one-hundred million dollars for the proposed Discovery Partners Institute in fiscal 2019. Senator Bennett thinks that could help create more jobs…
The Senator discussed the Discovery Partners Institute and other issues on WDAN Radio’s Newsmakers program Wednesday. Senator Bennett has also announced he will be hosting two town hall meetings next week with constituents. The first on Tuesday, September 4th will be held from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. at the Rantoul Business Center at 601 S. Century Boulevard in Rantoul. The second will be Wednesday, September 5th at the Westville City Hall at 201 North State Street in Westville from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m.
