Danville Police say no other suspects are being sought following the arrest of a man in a homicide last weekend. Public Safety Director Larry Thomason says 34-year-old Yuri Lillard of Danville is being held in the shooting death of 29-year-old Tyrell Henderson. Lillard is facing charges of first-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon after being arrested by U.S. Marshals in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
‘’He was arrested without incident,’’ according to Thomason. Lillard’s bond has been set at $7-million dollars.
Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden says ten people have lost their lives in homicides in the county this year. Eight of them suffered gunshot wounds….one died after being stabbed….and one died after being beaten.
