Members of a Danville City Council committee will discuss salaries Tuesday evening for the city leaders who will be elected next spring. Mayor Scott Eisenhauer says those salaries must be determined soon…
The salary package will include a proposal for both a full and part time mayor. Voters will decide in November whether they want to have a city manager. If the vote passes to change Danville’s form of government then the mayor’s job would become a part-time position starting next spring.
The Public Services Committee of the City Council is scheduled to discuss the salaries when it meets at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday (September 25, 2018) at the Robert E. Jones Municipal Building.
