State Representative Mike Marron says Illinois is facing some big challenges….
Marron was speaking at a candidate forum at Danville Area Community College last evening.
Marron’s Democratic opponent, Cindy Cunningham, cited her ties to unions….
The forum also featured candidates for Vermilion County Clerk and the 15th District Congressional race, along with a discussion of the proposal to change Danville to the city manager form of government.
The forum was sponsored by the Business Women of Vermilion County, DACC Annuitants Association, Danville Public Library and the local Executive Club.
Marron was earlier appointed to the position of State Representative to fill the spot vacated by former State Representative Chad Hays.
