The Danville Area Community College Foundation is going to be offering more scholarships in Manufacturing. Haas Automation, a billion dollar company, is granting the DACC Foundation a $10,000 gift. It will allow the Foundation to fund ten scholarships of $1,000 each for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Every year the Haas Foundation selects and awards grants to educational institutions around the world. The awards are available to students majoring in Advanced Manufacturing, Machining, and Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
DACC Manufacturing Professor Todd Flessner pursued the new scholarship money and was able to secure it for students. Applications may be made through the DACC Foundation Scholarship Program starting in mid-December (2018).
