Danville Mayor Scott Eisenhauer says he feels very fortunate as he prepares to become the new city administrator in Rantoul….
The Rantoul Village Board is expected to finalize an arrangement to hire Eisenhauer as its new village administrator Tuesday evening (October 9th, 2018.) If the vote is approved, Eisenhauer would begin his new job on November 5th.
Eisenhauer notes Rantoul has a new partnership with the University of Illinois that is going to be utilizing some space at the former Chanute Air Force Base….
Eisenhauer says he really has not taken the time to review accomplishments of his administration during his three terms as mayor. He says that is because he was always looking forward….
Eisenhauer will be relocating to Rantoul in order to accept the position. He quips that his wife, Amy, has already found a house in Rantoul that she likes. The Mayor adds his wife plans to continue in her position at North Ridge Middle School in Danville.
