Sentences have been handed down in Vermilion County Circuit Court in two robbery cases.
Thirty-two year old Anesse Abbed pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and was sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Vermilion County State’s Attorney Lacqueline Lacy says Abbed admitted robbing a victim over the age of 60 on May 8th. The robbery occurred at an ATM operated by First Financial Bank of Danville.
Eighteen-year-old Deontre Davis was sentenced to 8 years in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated robbery. State’s Attorney Lacy says Davis, along with other individuals, robbed a Circle K gas station in Danville on July 19th, 2018.
Both cases were investigated by Danville Police and prosecuted by Assistant Vermilion County State’s Attorney Christopher McCallum.
