A circuit court judge in Danville has sentenced a Danville resident to six and a half years in prison for aggravated robbery.
Twenty-year-old Shelby Haner was given the sentence by Judge Nancy Fahey in connection with a robbery which occurred last April.
Vermilion County State’s Attorney Jacqueline Lacy says Haner and some co-defendants lured the 32-year-old male victim into a vehicle and then pulled a gun and robbed him. The victim suffered physical injuries as he was forced out of the vehicle.
Court records indicate Haner’s last known address was on North Walnut Street in Danville.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Chris McCallum and was investigated by Vermilion County Sheriff’s Police.
