Thomason says if you are going to use a remote start system to warm your vehicle…make sure the doors are locked and the keys are not in the ignition.
Police also say you should not carry too many packages around. Instead, take them to your vehicle if you plan to do more shopping – and lock them out of sight in your trunk.
