Danville Police are holding an 18-year-old on preliminary charges of first-degree murder in a death they were previously calling ‘’suspicious’’. Public Safety Director Larry Thomason says Henry D. Graham was taken into custody Friday afternoon (January 11, 2019). He is being held in the death of 29-year-old Tara Jackson of St. Joseph who was found January 3rd.
‘’Detectives have continued working with information related to the incident,’’ said Thomason. ‘’Ms. Jackson was discovered in a local motel and detectives still await additional information on her death, but were aware that strangulation was suspected,’’ added Thomason.
Graham remains in custody at the Vermilion County Correctional Center (at the Public Safety Building) where he is being held without bond. Police say no additional information is being released at this time.
