The Looking for Lincoln program is going to be introducing a new show with Lincoln impersonator George Buss and Illinois folk musician Chris Vallillo. Lincoln The Great Communicator is the title of the program that combines live period music with conversation and narrative by President Lincoln.
The program is going to be presented in six Looking for Lincoln Gateway Communities – including Danville. The other communities are Alton, Bloomington, Charleston, Quincy and Springfield.
The new Looking for Lincoln program will be presented at the Vermilion County Museum on Thursday, April 4th at 7:00 p.m. The program is free and open to the general public.
Those attending will have the opportunity to learn more about Looking for Lincoln and the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area. The Danville area is a gateway to the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area.
