Danville City Council members have decided to pursue a $200-thousand dollar state grant to extend a shared use path along the bluff behind the David S. Palmer Arena. Steve Lane is Superintendent of Community Development for the City of Danville….

Mayor Rickey Williams noted the money being requested can only be used for trails. The City is seeking the money through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Recreational Trail Program.
