The former Vermilion County Rape Crisis Center has a new home and a new name. It is now called the Survivor Resource Center.
A reception was held at the new location at 923 North Vermilion in Danville Wednesday to celebrate the changes.
Marcie Sheridan is the Executive Director of the center and describes the services that are offered there….

Sheridan notes dealing with being the victim of a sexual assault can be a life-long struggle. And she noted that around 75-percent of the clients they serve are under the age of 18.
